Australian tour dates announced

Kylie Minogue has confirmed she will bring her highly acclaimed KylieX2008 tour home to Australia this December. The 40-year-old pop star will play dates in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Auckland, New Zealand, in the lead-up to Christmas. Minogue recently wrapped up her 53-date European tour, which saw the $A20 million KylieX2008 show travel to 21 countries.
“It’s been such a joy to take this show to so many countries that I’ve never been to before, but its a real thrill to finally be bringing it home to Australia and to be able to share it with you all,” Minogue said in a statement.
More than half a million people have seen the two-and-a-half-hour show, which features IMAX-sized video screen and floor screens, dazzling Jean Paul Gaultier costumes, and production to rival her last visit to Australia on the 2006 Showgirl Tour.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to Frontier Members from September 4, ahead of the general ticket release on Monday, September 8 at 9am local time.
KylieX2008 Australian and New Zealand tour dates:
- December 8 - Vector Arena, Auckland
- December 14 - Acer Arena, Sydney
- December 19 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
