Kylie’s Russian tour ‘not a safety concern’
ABC News Australia: By Moscow correspondent Scott Bevan
Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue is on her first concert tour of Russia. But one newspaper has reported she fears for her safety. With more than 40 hit songs to her now very famous name, Minogue is holding two concerts this week in Russia.
Yet on the day of her first concert in Moscow one newspaper, Tvoi Den, has been reporting that Minogue is concerned about an assassination attempt.
The pop star has reportedly demanded extra security, including armed bodyguards in her hotel.
Minogue’s management has dismissed the report as totally untrue, with a spokesman telling the ABC that the singer has no fears for her safety.
