Kylie wants to be a mum

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue has revealed she would like to have a baby. The 39-year-old said her battle with breast cancer two years ago had galvanised her wish to become a mother, but denied she was undergoing medical procedures to help her get pregnant. “I love children, always have and always will,” Minogue said in this week’s UK edition of Hello! magazine.
“But it’s only since my cancer that I have given serious thought to having them.
“Contrary to some reports, I am not having all sorts of weird treatments to try and get pregnant. Instead, we will just have to wait and see what the doctors say.”
The diminutive diva also dismissed any suggestions of a possible reunion with her former boyfriend of four years, French actor Olivier Martinez, after the pair split earlier this year.
“I saw him in Paris because that’s where my dogs are,” the magazine quoted Minogue as saying.
“But we are not together and I think he has another girlfriend.
“I like to remain on good terms with my ex-boyfriends, but I’m not ready to be friends with Olivier.
“I don’t like confrontation. You can be civil and friendly, but to go from a romantic relationship to a proper friendship you need to allow a certain amount of time to pass.”
